Executives are looking to finance groups to provide greater decision support and performance management. In too many cases, however, the finance organization may struggle to produce basic reports – much less compelling analysis. It might not be able to clearly state which products are performing the best or which customers are most profitable. Such challenges prevent organizations from redirecting their activities and resources to the areas of greatest opportunity.
