In 2000, Oracle Australia, located in Sydney, New South Wales, became the new site for the consolidated business services center in Asia-Pacific. Sydney offered Oracle the right mix of skills, quality of life, and reasonable running costs to justify the selection. In addition, Sydney''s stable business environment was seen as an excellent base to support Oracle''s growing business in the region.
